Mark Steele, formerly from New Zealand and before moving to Argentina in 1994 was involved in the nursery production of grape vines for wine product and the growing of premium grapes for export.

Just down the road from the famous winery Villa Maria, much of the scions for the vines came from their vineyards.

With a passion for Wines that date back decades, along with experts from the UK, USA, France, Australia, New Zealand and Argentina, Monteza was born.
